I AM the Mystery Diva...
Hello everyone! My name is Ruth Pettite, better known as the Mystery Diva. I am a simple person, but to ask anyone else who really knows, that is FAR FAR FAR from the truth.
I tend to write about things that are far from normal, but I am not a fantasy big new science world writer. I write about the things that people just don't like to talk about.
And, I like to make them funny while I'm at it.
My work is far from being washed up, over, kaput, nixxed, or anything like that. Don't judge books by their covers. Just like mine, you never know what holds for you within those pages.
As a prize winning short story writer, I like to sit back and reflect on each story as I finish them. Some stories come to me without thinking about them. "Die, Santa, Die" was written in under an hour, winning first prize in a monthly short story contest. "Just Smile For Me," my first published short story, is now a prize winning E-Reader and can be read on Nook, IPad, and many others. These and others have led me to where I am today, positive and successful.
I have my family to thank for my finally becoming published. Without the pushing and badgering comments from my kids, I probably would have given up the world of writing, the only world that makes a career a happy place for me.
I also have you, my readers, to thank. Without you, I would not be writing, and I would have not a single reason to put pen to paper. I love all of you and thank you again!
Join me and my blog adventures as I take you through my hilarious world of kids, people who surround me, and of course, just down right funny concepts. Comments are free to post, but please remember that kids sometimes read these sites, so keep it clean!
