I have been very busy this month, so I was unfortunately unable to
get a full newsletter out. However, if you haven't caught up with me on
Facebook, then you should probably check out the site.
New to the site:
I have installed a new area called "In the Raw". This area is
sincerely dedicated to those places that we visit in all of our trips back and
forth to Salt Lake City, or anywhere else for that matter. It will be updated
this weekend, so expect a little downtime. Depending on where we go, and how
many decent pictures I will be able to take with my camera phone will depend on
how much material I put into it.
New blogs are being updated all the time now. I have put myself into
a position where I will be able to write at least 3 full blogs a week. You don't
want to miss out on this. It is the most recent and most updated info I can get
out there all the way around. Follow the Adventures as I let them unfold in
front of your eyes.
KINDLE!
I am so happy and so pleased to announce that both "Heirloom" and
"Random Thoughts" are available for your personal Kindle Reader. They are linked
to the sites, so if you haven't been able to get your copies, you can now for
Kindle, Kindle Fire, and more!
The Grintana Series:
Book 3 of The Grintana Series is well under way and on its way to be
published (fingers and toes crossed) by September. Heirloom and Legacy are the
first two books, all combined into one. Heirloom is available now on nearly
every E-Reader out there, including the newly introduced Cricket Apps, I-Apps,
Kindle, Kobo, Diesel, and Sony E-Readers. You can also get it on your desktop as
a PDF file or as a webpage. The choice is yours, but I will tell you if you
haven't read the first two, you definitely won't understand #3.
As for those of you who have read the first two, I thank you SOOOOO
much. Book 3, "Gauntlet", is bringing out new strengths in the Grintana women,
and faults, as well as some surprises that you might have thought of, but eh,
what the hell... I am throwing them around anyway. LOL. Loved the first two?

Short Story Press:
I am pleased to announce that the newest of my short stories "Black
Sapphire" is being published by Short Story Press, LLC out of Los Angeles,
California. With the help of my good friend Sylvia with editing and type
checking, this short story is going to be on fire in their mystery collection.
Here is a brief synopsis of that story:
"Black
Sapphire" was a concept that Ruth toyed with for a few years. She studied
dialect to help enhance one of the main characters, "Mattie."
In the story,
an unsolved crime shows its ugly face when Detective Adam Reynoir starts
investigating. Mattie, the home's housekeeper, and her son, Jarell, decide that
they are going to continue staying in the home, even after the dismembering
murders have been cleaned up. As the story unfolds, Mattie takes Detective
Reynoir on a tour of the home, trying to get him to understand in her way that
the murders were no accident.
Mattie's life
revolves around her son, Jarell. When more incidents happen, Reynoir finally
understands why Mattie professes her faith so much in front of everyone, no
matter what. Living on the edge of greed will indeed, find you empty
handed.
